Delta Dunarii Guesthouse

Tulcea City is practically the "main entrance" in the Delta. Here, the Danube disengages itself in three channels, which lead to the extremities of this vast ecosystem.
A first glance at the city's cultural wealth reveals the Ecotouristic Museum, consisting of dioramas of local flora and fauna and locally used tools and objects. As we reach the end of the canyon, the road goes up to the Independence Monument. Up there, a circular panorama is revealed - the port, and buildings spread on six hills. The bells which resemble onion bulbs unravel the rich, multicultural history of the city.
Traveling towards the Delta Dunarii guesthouse, we come upon the cliff, boats, ships, the chill of the river, the flight of the seagulls, and the voices of the passers-by. A slow food menu awaits, consisting of creamy cheese, garden vegetables, fresh fish, meadow fruits, and local pies. The walls of the restaurant are painted by locals, and they summarize Delta's world.
Time for a relaxing night. The room offers a sober, yet intimate background. All at the light of the energy-saving bulbs, because the guesthouse adopted a "green" program regarding lower energy and water consumption.
